Susan Smith, yoga teacher, spiritual guide and author of “The Power of Yoga” is a dedicated yoga practitioner. With over 30 years of education and experience in health, wellness, yoga, mindfulness and spiritual awakening she developed teacher training and immersion programs founded through her multi-disciplinary studies. Susan founded One-Yoga, a holistic health and wellness institute dedicated to improving the quality of life by sharing the deep personal work and practical approach of yogic principles and practice. Her approach to yoga is founded in the Eight-Limbed Path of Yoga and Vedanta philosophy. Susan is considered the “teacher of teachers” and shares her vision, passion, and practicality with students worldwide. She has had the privilege of studying with many knowledgeable teachers; she honors each one and their contributions to her teaching. Susan holds a MSM in Health Care, MYI & ERYT in Yoga Instruction, and MRT in Usui Reiki.

Hi there,

Welcome. My name is Susan Smith and if you landed on this page, then know that you are meant to be here. Synchronicity of the universe always leads us where we need to go. So let me explain private session work.

In yoga, private session work is very personal and what we do is determined by your state of mind, body and spirit at the time. The sessions are holistic and include multiple therapeutic healing modalities. We begin this work with intention and attention.  So why are you here and what do you want to accomplish? What are you hoping to receive from private session work?

Private sessions are also wonderful for brand new students who want to learn the practice of yoga but may not feel comfortable in a group class. In this setting, you get the opportunity to explore yoga in a safe space. During our time together, we investigate the capabilities and limitations of your body and develop a suitable practice of movement, breath and meditation just for you.

Restorative Healing!

Private sessions are blended mind-body-spirit work that includes Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda and Mindfulness. Here’s what you can expect:

All suffering and all healing begins in the mind. The mind creates habit patterns, facilitated pathways, neurological responses that cause action or inaction. This energy manifests in the body. It can show up as underactive, overactive or both; it can be stuck, excessive, frenetic, lethargic, dissipated, confused, etc.; and it inhibits spirit.

In private session work we bring unconscious habit patterns to the forefront of the conscious mind. We build a strong mind body connection with divine spirit. And, we use various practices of Yoga, Ayurveda and Mindfulness to release and discharge stuck negative energy while enlivening and restoring positive life-affirming, joyful, healthy vibrant energy.

Private sessions are conducted in my home studio: 111 S. Spring Valley Rd., Greenville, DE 19807 or via Zoom.


When:

You can schedule a private session on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. Session times book quickly. Please reach out to me directly: 1-yoga@comcast.net or via phone (302) 354-2964.


Private Session Fees and Information:



Session Fees:
60 minute session: $135
75 minute session: $167
90 minute session: $200

Our first session normally takes 75 – 90 minutes. Subsequent sessions, if needed, are kept to a 60 – 65 minute timeframe. I do not accept insurance although some clients use their flex accounts to pay for these sessions.
