This 9-class series yoga course is designed to enhance your knowledge and practice of yoga on and off the mat. The container is made up of both the physical and energetic components. In the practice of yoga we simultaneously address body, mind and spirit through somatic movement, awareness, breath and stillness.
The Practice Container is the specific structure or ‘series’ of poses to develop internal awareness, and stillness moving from the outside world in, and from the lower (instinctual) chakras to the higher (ethereal) chakras. Each series within The Practice Container has a specific purpose for physical, mental and spiritual integration.
The Practice Container includes 9 Series. They are:
- Primary Standing
- Secondary Standing
- Back Bending and Strengthening
- Core Work
- Hip Opening
This class series course will help you reground, rebalance and re-establish a yoga practice that focuses on:
- Breath work
- Appropriate structure and sequencing of postures
- Finding stillness
- Working from the ground up
- Living yoga
This class was originally offered as an online class during Covid and now it will is taught in-person with tons of personal attention and hands-on assists. The great part about this class – is that you have the option. You can do this class completely online or in-person and everyone will have access to the Online Practice Container Resource Library for 9 weeks. So if plan on coming to the in-person classes but have miss a Sunday, you can do the practice at your leisure
