HWVL provides a comprehensive understanding of the integrated approach to wellness as it relates to illness, injury, imbalance, stress and conditioned habit patterns. Using the tools of Yoga, Ayurveda and Mindfulness, you will learn and create intervention, prevention and maintenance health practices that heal and restore.

This training is one of three modules required to complete One-Yoga’s 300/500 Hour Yoga Instructor Certification Course. The coursework presumes a basic understanding and practice of the Eight-Limbed Path of Yoga.

Here’s what you can expect:

In-depth chakra study understanding how the energetic body (nerve plexuses) are connected to thought, feeling and conditioned behavior patterns which directly impact the physical body and state of ‘being’.

Learn and use client assessment tools to discern root causes of pain, imbalance and dysfunction.

Develop emotional intelligence, intuitive guidance, mirroring and reflecting back techniques to enhance your teaching skill set and improve your ability to connect with clients and students.

Study and practice remedial applications that include: functional integrated movement, diet and nutrition, nurturing with nature, the importance of play, gentle, restorative, advanced and therapeutic asana, pranayama, bio-energetics, somatic experience work, systematic relaxation and meditation.

Guide clients and students to wellness by holistically addressing Stress Management, Anxiety & Depression, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Health, Cancer, Spinal injuries & limitations, Hip injuries & replacements, Digestive Conditions, Allergies and Sinus infections.

Blend western science and eastern philosophy by applying the wisdom of Vedanta ideology, the Yoga Sutras and Ayurveda to modern day living.
